About

I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor through the State of Washington.  I hold a Master of Arts degree in Applied Psychology from Antioch University, Seattle. I have worked multiple years in King County's Community Mental Health programs that focus on treating disadvantaged individuals suffering from chronic mental health disorders, substance abuse, and physical and cognitive disabilities.  In that time I have acquired Washington State credentials as a Mental Health Professional and Geriatric Mental Health Specialist.

My undergraduate work includes a degree in English and Creative Writing from the University of Colorado, Boulder where I spent a lot of time in artistic endeavors including media, visual, and language arts. As a result, I like to use creative interventions in treatment, I appreciate a good sense of humor and feel that has a place in treatment as well.
